Liberation Labs:
Our Priorities. Our Power. Our Future.
A Community Conversation Series on Equity & Power
Liberation Labs are a series of free, community-driven conversations designed to bring Southeast Queens residents together to discuss NYC’s 2024 Community Equity Priorities. Each lab explores urgent issues—from housing justice and public services to youth leadership and belonging—and gives neighbors a chance to share honest feedback that will help shape the future of our city.
As part of the NYC Commission on Racial Equity’s Community Partnerships initiative, Liberation Labs center voices often left out of decision-making and treat community members as experts in their own experiences.
📢 Your voice matters. Every participant receives a $20 gift card for their time and participation.
