In 2025 we celebrate the Black family reunion as a powerful symbol of love, connection, and cultural legacy. It is a time to honor the bonds that hold us together, the traditions that sustain us, and the joy that radiates from our shared experiences. Join us as we gather in unity, embracing the spirit of family as a cornerstone of resilience, a celebration of our heritage, and a foundation for a brighter future.

Experience a day of celebration and reflection at Roy Wilkins Park as we commemorate the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States, including the last freed in Galveston, TX. Enjoy live music, dance performances, food vendors, and more.

Connect with the community and learn about the rich history of Juneteenth. This in-person event is a great opportunity to come together and honor the resilience of our city. Don't miss out on this special occasion!
